After scraping 4-5 inches of snow off my car and locating my Yak Trax at 7:30 this morning, I rushed over to get to the incline club knowing that I was going to be plowing my way up Barr Trail through fresh snow. It was a beautiful morning and the Peak is simply gorgeous with new snow. Of course, the snow turned my "run" into more of a plod, hike, and slip up the trail. Down is always easier for me, but today it was an exercise in not falling on my ass.

Gonna be nice in Manitou all week, you should be able to get up to the 7.8 mile sign on Sunday.
